Story

With Ellie’s family roots in Chios, Greece, an island with a centuries-old seafaring tradition, the mariner motif feels especially personal. The sea has always been deeply woven into the identity of Chios, from generations of mariners and shipbuilders to the maritime villages that still line its coast today.

This puffy interpretation is Ellie’s softer, more sculptural take on the traditional mariner link, paired with silk cord for a piece that feels both old-world and modern.

Care
  • Each Eleutheria piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted by hand using small-batch materials. Natural variations in texture, shape, and finish are part of what makes each piece uniquely its own.
  • Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time, though its original brightness can always be restored with a silver polishing cloth. Store pieces in a cool, dry place away from light to help minimize excess tarnishing.
  • Each silk cord is hand-dyed and stitched by hand. As with all silk textiles, avoid harsh soaps, chlorinated or salt water, and extended periods of direct sunlight exposure. They may be hand-washed in a mild detergent or soap, patted dry with a towel, then hung to dry.
